    • Celebrating Walmart 3261

    Walmart #3261, located at Richland, WA, celebrated a grand re-opening on Friday, April 27, after a couple months of remodeling. The store celebrated with a ceremony the featured giving grants to local schools, the fire department, and the police department. The ceremony also included a check presentation where regional leadership, store leadership, associates, and customers celebrated raising $105,000 in donations for Virginia Mason Memorial, Central Washington’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. We are so fortunate for the dedication that Walmart associates and customers have shown to babies and kids across Central Washington. We are excited for this year’s campaign starting on August 27!

    Tom Heidegger, Market 475 Manager, and Josh Munson, CMNH Director, celebrate the donation amount to Virginia Mason Memorial from Walmart’s 2017 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaign.
    The team at Walmart #2241 located at Sunnyside, WA, raised $13,745 during the 2017 CMNH campaign and had a 428% increase in fundraising over 2016’s campaign.
    The team at Walmart #1817 located at Hermiston, OR, raised the most donations during the 2017 CMNH campaign ($15,767!). Holding the check is an associate, Frankie, who is the title-holder (again!) for the most balloon sales at her store.
