There’s Just No Telling How Far Walmart Will Go #ForTheKids

Meet Lily. In the words of Lily’s mom Kelly, Lily’s older brother Riley has freckles and looks different from other kids, while Lily happens to have an extra chromosome and looks different from other kids. She was born 3 weeks premature and treated at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Virginia Mason Memorial, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Throughout her short life, Lily has also utilized programs and services at Children’s Village. Lily is a care-free, daring, and loving 6-year old girl. Lily also happens to love the movie Moana (who doesn’t?).

Que Walmart. Today, Virginia Mason Memorial hosted a campaign kickoff luau for the 9 Walmart stores that will soon be raising funds and awareness for our smallest of patients. With the help from Lily and her family sharing their journey at our hospital, Walmart is posing the challenge of “How Far I’ll Go #ForTheKids.”
